Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher - Review

Summary:stevephillipstech

  • Jack Reacher has brought back the action packed Tom Cruise into the movie world. He has performed plenty of actions in various varieties and some of them at their loudest. Cruise plays the lead role of a guy with a huge gun, painful past and very little patience. He travels the lonely road that leads to truth. Whether he succeeds or fails is the climax of the movie.

This crime movie was initially named as One Shot, which is the name of the novel by Lee Child written way back in 2005. The entire movie was shot in and around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.
    Plot
A man by the name Charlie drives a van into the parking garage and encounters a man with a rifle. The rifle man shoots at random and kills five people in a row. A man by the name James Barr, who is an army person has been arrested for this barbarous act. However, Emerson who is a detective and the police soon find out evidence from the crime spot and at James Barr’s house. At his interrogation, he requests the District Attorney, Alex Rodin and Emerson to look out for Jack Reacher, the hero of the movie. Jack Reacher is a guy who is a drifter and a former Army Military Officer. He reaches on time and the rest of the movie is action packed.

This crime movie was directed and screen played by Christopher McQuarrie. This movie was produced by four people: Tom Cruise, Paula Wagner, Gary Levinsohn and Dana Goldberg. The stars in the movie are:
    1. Tom Cruise
    2. Rosamund Pike
    3. Richard Jenkins
    4. Werner Herzog
    5. David Oyelowo
    6. Robert Duvall

  • This movie has gained mixed reviews from the public. The movie has received a number of positive reviews, but has failed miserably to out-beat “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”. Per the reviews much more is expected of Tom Cruise. He must have done a bit more homework to fit into the character and should also have focused on his body. This movie exposes us to the scary world of the American gun culture.

Perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world.

we like the game, more people like movies. so we can play like movies on the game.
The LEGO Movie Videogame. In a scenario drawn from the film, The LEGO Movie Videogame puts LEGO kids into the role of Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Players guide him as he is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

The Movie game ( lego ) , in every way , live up to the potential shown in the previous LEGO games . You have all the same silliness , the same kind of a puzzle , and so on , so many things to unlock . So , basically , if you like the previous LEGO games , and want more of the same , this is for you . I can tell , just like in the movie . There is a world of LEGO inhabited by Emmet ,  a normal ordinary person who knows that he is "Special " , and goes on a quest to save the world from the evil Lord Business . Along the way , he met the likes of Batman , Abraham Lincoln , and every character Morgan Freeman recently rolled into one , and learned that sometimes outside the building instructions are ok . As a special added bonus , all the characters are voiced by the actors from the movie , so you get Morgan Freeman , Will Farrell , Liam Neeson , etc. You will beat the main game with about 40 percent of the actual game is finished , and spend the rest of your life and character unlocking items . Not that it is a bad thing . You may also have a lot of fun , because , come on , LEGO video games , of late , is quite amazing . Oh , and I hope you do not mind " Everything is Awesome ! " Song from the film because it will be your new best friend in this game . It is a very good video game for anyone of approximately five years and above . I'm forty-one and I still enjoy it , as well as the other LEGO games . The fact that I am quite into LEGO , and has been there since I was little , help in this regard . But regardless . It is a fun game , and I highly recommend it .

Divergent, The debut novel from Veronica Roth, Divergent imagines a future after a great war.

    From School Library Journal
    Divergent review
Gr 9 Up-In the dystopian Chicago setting of Veronica Roth's novel (Katherine Tegen Bks., 2011), the population is divided into five factions. Upon declaring allegiance to one of them, 16-year-old Beatrice will decide her future. Beatrice and her brother, Caleb, grew up in helpful, unassuming Abnegation, always putting others first. During her aptitude testing, a simulation probes her suitability for Abnegation, Amity, Candor, Dauntless, and Erudite. Rather than getting a clear reading of her strengths, Beatrice's result is disturbing and dangerous: she is Divergent. At the choosing ceremony, the teenager impulsively joins Dauntless, the tattooed "hellions" whose value is bravery, and who protect the community. Beatrice, now called Tris, finds she feels brilliantly alive in Dauntless, even during the brutal training. She enjoys seeing her muscles harden, testing her courage, protecting the underdog, and working her way up the ranks of recruits. Making both friends and enemies, she moves through simulations tailored to trigger her Fear Landscape. Gradually, her Divergence shows itself, allowing Tris to see that the faction-dominated world isn't as wonderful as she has been told. The likeable characters, excellent pacing, and blooming romance will have listeners hooked. Emma Galvin's youthful voice has a twinge of huskiness that lends itself to voicing both young men and women. The audiobook will be very popular, so library patrons will have to be careful considering the packaging: a lightweight box and foldout sleeves. Beatrice Prior’s dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue—Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is—she can’t have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are—and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.
